Piano Trios 2:30 p.m., Nov. 3  

Sitka founder Paul Rosenthal (violin) and artistic director of Houston's HausMusik, Robert Moeling (piano), join the founder of the Sonoran Chamber Music Series, Tom Landschoot (cello), in the playing of trios by Beethoven and Smetana.

 

Piano Trios 2:30 p.m., Feb. 16

Sonoran Chamber Music Series founder Tom Landschoot (cello) welcomes Tokyo String Quartet First Violinist Martin Beaver and University of Southern California Professor of piano performance Kevin Fitz-Gerald for an afternoon performance. 

 

Violin Recital 2:30 p.m., March 30

The Takacs String Quartet's first violinist Edward Dusinberre will play a program of Brahms, Bach and Beethoven with University of Colorado (Boulder) piano professor and international performer David Korevaar.  

 

Piano, Flute, & Strings Quintet 2:30 p.m., April 6

The performance features a varied program of strings and piano performed by the Orion Quartet's first violin Daniel Phillips, ASU faculty artists Jonathan Swartz (violin), Tom Landschoot (cello) and Wendy Chen (piano), the youngest winner of the National Chopin Competition. 

 

Piano & Cello Duets 2:30 p.m., April 27 

Naumburg International Piano Competition winner Anton Nel will play solo piano and duets with cellist Tom Landschoot.
