Daniel Meyer leads The Phoenix Symphony and Van Cliburn Piano Competition Finalist and First Prize Winner of the Cleveland Piano Competition Chu-Fang Huang in Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 2. This graceful and charming work is paired with Dvorák’s exhilarating Symphony No. 6, considered to be even greater than the “New World” among most musicians and scholars today. Maestro Meyer also conducts Theofanidis’ musically and spiritually inspired Rainbow Body, one of the most beloved works by a living composer.

One of Arizona’s favorite entertainers, Robert Moody returns to lead The Phoenix Symphony. As the Resident Conductor of The Phoenix Symphony for many years, Moody quickly became known for his innovative programming and his warm charismatic rapport with audiences. Moody leads the Symphony in Bates Desert Transport, Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 in C Major and Sibelius' Symphony No. 2 in D Major.
