Veteran comic Tony Vicich has been making people laugh or demand their money back since 1985. As a national touring stand-up comic, Vicich has made crowds laugh in clubs and theaters in every state in the country and in two cities in Canada. His television credits include A&E, Showtime, MTV, Comedy Central, Fox and TNN (and a bunch of other stuff that isn't on the air anymore). Vicich has written for and guided the careers of many comics who have not gone anywhere and a few who have.
Tempe Comedy Concert Series: Kevin O'Dea Lakeside 9:30 p.m., May 31
Kevin O'Dea is the host of the wildly successful Comedy Circus playing at the TCA. See him leave the hosting duties to someone else and headline the show. No one engages an audience better than this New Jersey put-down artist. Most people hate it when the comic makes fun of them. The way O'Dea does it, they love it.
Freeman is one of the top-rated female stage hypnotists in the United States. Her shows are high energy, fast paced and full of laughter. The shows are age-oriented and filled with audience participation, music and skits. Freeman has performed at NBA halftime shows and was an Expert guest on Fox Sports' The Best Damn Sports Show Period. Freeman has appeared on numerous television and radio talk shows.

Chris Bennett has been seen on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show and at numerous clubs and festivals around the country. His unique style of comedy has awarded him the title of the funniest Actor in New York at the then named New York Improv. He also won the Funniest Person in the Valley Contest, the 2006 Southwest Comedy Festival and The Ha Ha Comedy Café's Contest in North Hollywood, Calif.
John Jesmer is one of the original members of the Arizona comedy scene and a man who rocked the Comedy Store in L.A. Jesmer is a TCA favorite and the funniest father and husband you will ever see.

Explore the world of dance presented by Second Act Dance Company. Performances will include styles of dance ranging from Classical Ballet and Contemporary to Latin Ballroom and African Bellydance Fusion.
This production is a contemporary musical take on a classic tale of the bond between an enslaved Nubian princess and an Egyptian soldier. As forbidden love blossoms, the young lovers are forced to face death or part forever. He broke onto the scene at the age of 19 as a punching dummy in a Mike Tyson promo, which aired on Showtime. he later portrayed the victim of a crazed fraternity in E! True Hollywood Story Investigates: Hazing. In 2008, Gregory's talents were highlighted on NBC's Last Comic Standing.

Bob Kubota Lakeside 7:30 and 9:30 p.m., Aug. 2
Bob Kubota's penchant for dry wit, lighthearted sarcasm and deciphering life's ironies has led him to the majority of the contiguous 48 states, as well as Alaska and Hawaii. In 1996, he became an international performer when he joined the USO, and he now tours regularly with the "Comics on Duty" (Davis Entertainment) providing comic relief to American military troops stationed around the globe. Kubota has appeared on programs from Comedy Central to A&E and MTV.
Bruce Baum Lakeside 7:30 and 9:30 p.m., Aug. 9
Bruce Baum has appeared on The Simpsons as himself and is the creator of the comedy web-destination TheOuterNet.com. He has appeared on Hollywood Squares, Full House, Growing Pains, Comedy Central, HBO and Showtime. Baum served as a creative consultant on ABC-TV's popular "Whose Line is it Anyway?" and spent two years at Fox-TV as resident short-film-maker and sketch comedian on "Sunday Comics" and "Comic Strip Live." He appeared for two years on ABC-TV's "America's Funniest People. He regularly headlines in Las Vegas and top venues around the globe.
Singer/songwriter Blaine Long performs live. Long fronted an original Tempe-based band for most of the 90s and has been a solo artist, performing in Boulder, Colo., San Diego, Calif., Los Angeles, and wherever music would take him. Long’s music is marked by warm and soulful vocals and a powerful rhythmic acoustic guitar style. Ticket price includes a copy of his seventh CD, “Prairie Sun.”
