A Night at the Show with The Academy Drum & Bugle Corps
Young performers of the Arizona Academy of the Performing Arts dazzle audiences with special productions reminiscent of the Tony awarded show "Blast!" The performance features powerful music performed by a complete cast of 150 and showcases solo dancers, a zany tuba section, new percussion and drumline productions, unique performances by Academy staff, marching drills on stage and more.



Childsplay 2007-2008 Season
Childsplay is an award-winning professional theatre company for young audiences and families. Based in Tempe, Arizona, since 1977, Childsplay has achieved a national reputation in the field.

Childsplay's 2007-2008 season includes Charlotte's Web, A Thousand Cranes, Seussical, Goodnight Moon, A Tale of Two Cities, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, and Tour Festival: In My Grandmother's Purse and The Audubon Project.

Desert Dance Theatre 2007-2008 Season
Desert Dance Theatre is a contemporary dance company that was founded in 1979 by four ASU Dance Graduates. Currently under the artistic direction of Lisa R. Chow, Marion Kirk Jones, and Step Raptis, Desert Dance Theatre has an eclectic variety of dances in the current repertory, which range from classical to comical, abstract and theatrical. The company is comprised of experienced performers, choreographers and enthusiastic educators who strive to bring the openness, spontaneity and diversity of dance to the public.

JAMN Jazz @ TCA: The Studio Series
The JAMN Jazz @ TCA Series is the most exciting and innovative collection of intimate, cutting-edge jazz concerts to be produced in the Valley for many years. JAMN Jazz Productions, producers of the Monti's Back Door series in Tempe, offers a series of monthly concerts featuring a combination of internationally renown jazz artists along with the finest jazz talent in Arizona.

Concert dates are May 23, June 27, July 25, August 22, September 26, and October 31.

Novaballet presents an energetic, global mix of movement featuring James Jeon’s intuitive, eastern style Inner Moves and the celebratory Adiemus by David Palmer and Yanis Pikieris set to the ethnic tribal sounds of composer Karl Jenkins. Live piano accompanies a world premiere presentation along with Vicente Nebrada’s Our Waltzes. Program subject to change.

Prejudging runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12, not including service or convenience fees.

Finals begin at 5 p.m. Tickets are $35 for adults and $5 for children under 12, not including service or convenience fees. A discount is available for adults purchasing tickets to both the prejudging and finals. Contact the TCA Box Office for more information on this discount at 480-350-2822.

Tempe Little Theatre 2007-2008 Season
Located in downtown Tempe, Arizona, Tempe Little Theatre has brought the excitement of community theater to the East Valley for over 35 years with quality productions ranging from drama and intrigue to comedy and musicals. As an all-volunteer, non-profit organization, TLT is theater of and for the community, with an energy only you can supply. TLT offers opportunities for individuals with or without formal theater backgrounds to get involved, either on stage or behind the scenes.
